This month's night run and potluck BBQ was a big success. We had  a good number of SCLS members participate as well as some visitors from LALS. The fun started after we had finished with the public run on Saturday the 18th.

It was a night for steam as The clubs 4-4-0 was out on the tracks along with Rory's  0-4-0 Silver Spoons engine. Tim Brothers had his RMI Fourney 2-4-4 out on the tracks as well, it even ran down the Crenshaw line in the dark, that was a lot of fun. Steam whistles always sound better at night.

The BBQ was great and there was almost nothing left over to take home. We finally got things put away and cleaned up by around 10:30. It was an outstanding evening.

The Next BBQ Night run will be Saturday October 16th, hope to see you all there.

You only need three tools in life - WD-40, Duct Tape, and a Hammer. If it doesn't move and should, use the WD-40. If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape. If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem.
