All went well at the OC fall meet on Saturday. We had SCLS club members Rory H. and Tom D that had each of there locos out for the run, and Jeff had his CP Huntington chassis out on display for all to take a look at this neat steam loco project.
Wyatt, Donna and Rob L. where out for a ride/run as well so it made for a small crew but we had a good time, and the OC club members said they were very happy we had come back out to their fall meet. It is just nice to go have a little visit with our live steamer neighbors and take a run on their layout.
As time goes on, and I go to the different club meets, I'm finding I like more and more getting to meet and talk to people in the live steam hobby about there projects, as I always seem to get some new info to help make one of my live steam projects go a little easier.
Well the next meet I will be going to will be at the LA Live steamers fall gathering on Saturday 10-3-09 . The SCLS haul day well be on Sunday 10-4-09 so hopefully we can get a few more SCLS members to come out for the day and take a ride or two around their layouts and hopefully the weather will be on their side this time.
