looking out the front windo on tom and wyatts cab ride at the NSRW,it was there frist cab ride in a full size loco.we thuoght the ride was going to be in a GP30 but it was down for repairs so we got to go on a NW2.it was the first NW2 demonstrator unit built and ended up on the UP railroad as # 1000,than went to the WP railroad,than in a merge ending back with UPRR,than to a short line in CA and than going to the Nevda Stete RR,they would like to get it painted back to its UP black paint job sometime. |

Nice people there and all were volunteers, every thing there was vary clean. The funny thing is we are running full a size loco and all the crew thought live steam locos are way cool and some of them said they where getting some live diesel stuff in a few years.
