after a derailment one of the cars on Tim's train had we looked and found a few old wood ties that just weren't doing there job any more.so tom,Steve ,Phil,Shane,and Shane Jr removed 90 feet of old track and installed new track panels with a weed cloth under it.next Saturday we will ballast,line,and level this new track. |

the length of tim and jims trucks make them easy trucks to pop off. they cant just ride over and they cant flex or bend enough to take some of the little dips in are track. id like to look after the switch over before the tunnel where ive noticed some track that seems to have some bumps in it. that may casue a derailment in future also as thats one of the faster parts of the line with the down hill grade and lack of curves. |

I can barley keep up with building track. I think we have installed close to 700' of track in the last 2 months. I need to get a head start before we start the inner loop. |
