Nice 1" loco but check out the rod on the side of the tender it is the bake lever. A lot of the tenders and riding cars had this simple bake set up on them. The lever is just hooked up to a scissor linkage that drags a plate on the rails to stop the train. Boy you could have some fun at LA on the 7.5 with the steel rail and a plate with some tie or mag pins in it. Hum another good project for the list I would think. |
