This is the second switch Tom installed in this area. When the connection track is installed trains will be able to go from the outer loop over to the inner loop. This allows more options for train operators on public run days. The big one is trains will be able to get back to the station if something is blocking to track on the other side of the tunnel. We are calling this the cut off track. |
