What kind of member are you? Most members of the public will never know how much work is done to keep the trains running safely. What is so amazining is that so much of the work is done by such a small number of members. Most members come to rundays and help out and do a great job, even if they have no idea how much work is done to prepare for each run day. But there still is a "handfull" of members who have come to expect everything to be done for them. Even for a "handfuul" of members to think any member of the club is working for them is wrong. This "handfull" does come to meetings and continue to ask the same questions such as: "I thought we were going to add a track here or there?" "Can we do something about weeds?" "Why havn't we....?" Every member who puts in their time to keep the trains running does it for the public. Yes this "handfull" of members are the members who still cause trouble in the meetings. Thank you to all of the working members! To the "handfull" I can not think of any more polite ways (with or without spelling errors...) to ask you to stop or find another club so you can flap your lips and create hot air and noise during someone elses meetings. Everyone is invited to run trains and help out. So who are you? Tim Brothers (310)429-5428 |
